Home > CLASS > Edinburgh shows at Augustine's, Venue 152
Performances at Augustine's ran from Tuesday 14th to Monday 27th August 2007, excluding Monday 20th, at 20:30 (8.30pm). Tickets were £8, or £6.50 for concessions. CLASS appeared in the Studio at Augustine's on the George IV Bridge, situated in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, just minutes around the corner from the Fringe Office on the Royal Mile. The imaginative and unconventional architecture of Augustine United Church is a perfect accompaniment for Fringe theatre. The idiosyncrasies of the tower and its unique 3-tier octagonal spire are an unmistakable part of the Edinburgh skyline.
Augustine’s is a working church (see www.augustine.org.uk for more details) which is transformed during August to provide three unique performance theatres, a box office and a coffee bar. Situated on the lower level, the Studio seats over 100 people, but provides an intimate atmosphere. And the coffee bar at entrance level serves a delicious range of sandwiches, cakes, snacks and drinks, between 10:30am and 11:30pm. Augustine's had a full programme of productions in addition to CLASS. See www.paradise-green.co.uk or www.edfringe.com for more details. |
