Synopsis

THE HEAD of the Universe instructs the PROFESSOR to create RUTH ROBINSON, a human robot, who is instated as the HR manager of Ubertech, the world’s leading provider of space and travel technology. His purpose is to get an insight in to life on earth and understand whether humans and their technology are a threat to planet Billabop. But due to the Professor’s constant forgetfulness, Ruth Robinson is mis-programmed. This causes a string of mishaps resulting in the Professor being held captive by aliens on planet Billabop. STANLEY, Ruth’s househusband finds himself becoming the Suburban Spaceman in his quest to rescue the Professor and find his missing wife. Along with DAPHNE, the Professor’s loyal wife and BENJAMIN, Ubertech’s graduate, Stanley comes to the rescue. But can they really help under the watchful eye of a dictator and his man servant BLIP? We learn that happenings on earth are just one big reality TV show presented by Billabop’s panel of experts, PETULA, DELORES, CHARLOTTE and the bubble rappers, MATILDA & FLORENCE. With Ruth’s domination of earth spiralling out of control, they must stop her. She has already made life hell for her colleagues, THOMAS, MARCO and BOB. But it appears everyone has lost control of everything. Can they rescue the Professor? Can they stop ruthless Ruth? And can a robot learn how to feel human emotions?
